Awesome new records on approval of orphan or rare diseases drugs in 2014.

Among the list of novel drugs there are three different antibiotics to treat acute skin infections such as cellulitis.
The drugs are effective against methicillin resistant staph aureous bacteria. (MRSA)
Cellulitis is one of the most severe complications of lymphedema. Currently, vancomycin is the drug of choice to treat it but these new medications have been added to the arsenal to fight the dreaded infections

The list of new medications also include a new drug to treat hepatitis c.
